What is a uniform kit:
If you're new to the world of club soccer, you may have heard the term "uniform kit" but aren't quite sure what it entails. A soccer uniform kit is essentially the complete gear your child will need for their games and practices. It typically includes:

Additional items like warm-up jackets or training gear.
Each kit is designed to not only help your child perform at their best but also to create a sense of unity and team spirit.
In our collections each item that is required by the club will be noted on the club’s catalog in red in the upper left hand corner of the product image.
Know Your Club’s Uniform Cycle:
Soccer clubs typically have a two-year cycle for uniform ordering. This means your player will be required to wear these for 4 full seasons. Suppliers, like Nike and Adidas, will also update and discontinue styles on a similar timeline. Where your club is at in a given uniform cycle can make a difference for ordering. If it’s the first year of a cycle, you may want to consider ordering up a size to allow room for your child to grow, as uniforms are usually expected to last for the entire two-year cycle.
Uniform Fit
While we supply supplier size charts on each item, personal preference is an important consideration. For example, soccer shorts can vary in length depending on the style and vendor, and some players may prefer a looser or more snug-fitting jersey. To make sure your child is comfortable and happy with their uniform, reach out to your club to see if a fit kit is available to try on. This can help ensure you choose the best size and style for their comfort and performance on the field!

What to Expect Ordering Your Kit
Items produced by Team Gazelle are made after an order is placed. Kits are blank prior to the production process. As a small business, we take great pride in the attention to detail that goes into each order. The production process for custom items does take time. Unlike mass-produced products, custom gear requires individual attention and assembly. We prioritize quality and craftsmanship, which means each item is carefully produced, not rushed through an assembly line.
After your order is completed, we also want to ensure it's carefully packed and shipped to you in perfect condition. While the process may take a bit longer, rest assured that it is crafted with care and attention to detail, all with the goal of delivering a product that will bring pride to you and your player.
Preparing for the Fall season, specific order deadlines will be communicated to you by your club. In order to receive your team items by your first date of play, your order must be placed by that time. Almost think of your summer club order as a fall preorder. Orders cannot be expedited and are processed based on date placed, your club’s first date of play, and product availability. Once your order is placed you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this email, please reach out to us. The email address used for your order is one of the key ways we keep you updated. Once your order completed you will receive an additional email with tracking information. That email will also include what is expected to arrive in that shipment. Once you receive your “On the Way” email, this indicates that the shipment has been picked up by USPS, and we will be unable to pull your order.
Personalized gear cannot be returned or exchanged, only place an order once uniform numbers are assigned and communicated by your club.

Item Backorders
As a small business, we depend on the timelines provided by our suppliers to fulfill customer orders. When an item is marked as backordered, it means the product was unavailable at the time your order was processed from our shelves. In the case of club soccer gear, backorders typically originate at the manufacturer or supplier level, which can sometimes result in extended wait times for restocking.
Once an item is backordered, we make every effort to find the best possible solution to fulfill your order, especially if the backorder is expected to be prolonged. We understand the importance of having your player ready for game day and are committed to delivering the necessary items as quickly as possible. This is an additional reason why the contact information provided on the order needs to be accurate. This will help you keep track of your order and ensure we can contact you if needed.

Uniform Care and Patch Upkeep
- In preparation for washing, DO NOT pile damp garments together.
- Hand washing is strongly recommended so fabric dyes do not fade or bleed.
- If machine washing, do so on the lowest heat setting or in cold water. Do not use fabric softener
- Wash garments inside out and allow them to air dry.
- Hang or fold after each use to avoid fabric distortion
- DO NOT put them in the dryer.
- DO NOT iron or press numbers and logos.
